SaaS link building services for rankings and AI visibility

What a month with SaaS Link Building delivers: two kinds of placement on pages that rank in Google and that AI answers cite, so your product is found both ways; one set of checks for every site we pitch; and a report you can verify link by link.

Guest posts: a new article for the host's readers

A guest post is an article that did not exist until we wrote it, published on a site in your niche with your link in the body. The host's editor gets a pitch first, then an outline, then a draft to approve, and they can send it back. The piece is written for their readers, which is the only reason an editor with a real audience says yes.

Our in-house writers do the writing: a person writes the article, checks the facts and places the link where a reader would use it. The host's byline and editorial rules apply, and the article stays live for the length of your plan's guarantee.

For ranking, a guest post adds a referring domain your profile did not have. For being cited, it puts your product's name and what it does into a publication's own words, which is what an AI answer is later assembled from.

Every plan includes guest posts, from one a month on Basic to five on Enterprise. They take longer to land than insertions, so they are the smaller part of each month. The counts by plan are under pricing and plans.

  • Written in-house
  • Editor-approved
  • Your anchor, your page
  • 1 to 5 a month

Link building for AI visibility

When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI Overviews which tool to use, the answer names products from pages that already rank and from publications the engine trusts. Each placement we make puts your product on one of those pages.

Link insertions
Your link, with your product's name beside it, goes into an article that already ranks and is already read, which is the kind of page an overview cites. On the 12 overviews we read for the main agency searches on 13 October 2026, 34 of the 38 citations of agencies' own pages went to pages on page one.
Guest posts
Your product, and what it does, in a publication's own words. An answer is assembled from text like that, so the article does more than carry a link.
Anchor and target
We point links at the pages you want to rank for a buyer's question, because those are the pages a "which tool" answer is built from: on the provider searches we read, 37 of 48 citations went to a list or comparison article.

The checks every site passes before we pitch it

Four of them, in the same order every time. A site that fails one is dropped, however good the rest looks, and every link that passes carries the live-link guarantee.

  1. 01

    Authority

Domain rating of 50 or more in Ahrefs on Basic and Pro, 60 or more on Enterprise, with domain authority of 30 or more as a second opinion.

Checked on the day of the pitch and shown in your monthly report

  2. 02

    Traffic

At least 1,000 visits a month on Basic, 3,000 on Pro and 5,000 on Enterprise, as the plans state it. A site that nobody visits lends nothing, whatever its rating.

Checked on the day of the pitch; the trend too, so a site in decline is skipped

  3. 03

    Relevance

The site publishes about marketing, SaaS, or your product's own category, and the specific page or article is about something a reader of yours would also read.

Judged by a person, every time, with your industry exclusions respected

  4. 04

    An editor

A named person who decides what gets published and can say no. Sites that publish anything for anyone are the ones that sink a backlink profile, so they do not make the list. What we never do: buy links from lists, use private blog networks or link farms, send automated pitches, or place on a site with no editor.

No private blog networks, no link farms, no automated listings

How anchor text is chosen

You give us the pages you want to rank and the phrases you care about, and we propose an anchor and a target page for every site on the month's list before anything is pitched. The mix leans on natural phrasing and your brand name, with exact-match anchors kept to the few places where they read naturally; a profile that is nothing but exact-match anchors is the quickest way to lose rankings instead of gaining them.

Anchors are chosen to fit the sentence they sit in. Generally speaking, the editor has the last word on wording, and we would rather a plain anchor on a strong page than a forced one anywhere.

How does link building work? The five steps, in full

The same order on every plan. The people who run them are described under who does the work.

  1. 01

    Choose a plan

Pick Basic, Pro or Enterprise and subscribe through Stripe. There is no contract; three months is the shortest run we suggest, because that is usually how long results take to show.

A plan, a start date, a person to write to

  2. 02

    A call about your site

The pages you want to rank, the anchors you can live with, the competitors you measure yourself against, and what has been tried before. If you already know the phrases you care about, bring them.

A brief we both agree on

  3. 03

    Prospecting

Three sources: the sites linking to your competitors and not to you, the sites already ranking for the topics your pages cover, and the editors we have placed with before. Your own blog is read too, because a post that already ranks is the easiest page to earn a link for. Every candidate goes through the four checks, and a person makes the final call.

    The month's target list

  4. 04

    Your sign-off

You see the list with a proposed anchor and target page for each site, and strike anything you do not want. Nothing is pitched until you have approved it.

    A list you have approved

  5. 05

    Placement and the report

Outreach, writing, placement, then a report at the end of the month with every live URL. In a narrow or crowded niche the list of sites that pass the checks is shorter, so a month may carry more insertions and fewer guest posts, and we say so when it happens.

Live links, and a report you can check

In-house or us: the same month, side by side

Building links yourself is a real option, so here is what the month looks like either way. Yes, you could run it in-house, but the likelihood is that the first link takes longer than you have.

In-house

  • Someone on your team prospects, writes, pitches and chases replies, on top of their actual job
  • Ahrefs, an outreach tool and a writer, each paid for whether or not a link lands
  • Editors who do not know the sender; most pitches go unanswered until a relationship exists
  • The first link arrives when it arrives; no monthly count to plan around
  • A dropped link is nobody's job to notice

SaaS Link Building

  • A team whose whole job is this, with editors it has placed with before
  • One price a month that includes the tools, the writing and the outreach
  • A fixed number of placements: 7, 14 or 30 a month depending on the plan
  • A target list you approve first, a report with every live URL at the end
  • A removed link restored or replaced for the plan's months, 12 to 24, even after you leave

What you get at the end of the month

A report with every placement: the live URL, the anchor, the target page, the site's domain rating and traffic on the day it went live. You can open each one and see it. Alongside the links, the figures that show whether they are doing anything: referring domains, organic traffic and keyword rankings, from Ahrefs, Google Analytics and Search Console.

The links come with a live-link guarantee of 12 months on Basic, 18 on Pro and 24 on Enterprise. Links normally stay up well past the guarantee, but a site can close or an editor can rewrite a page, which is just the nature of the trade. When a link drops inside the guarantee we restore it or secure a replacement on another site that passes the same checks, and the guarantee stays in force for those months even if you have stopped subscribing.

The tools behind the outreach

Named so you know what the report is built on. The articles, the pitches and every judgement on a site come from the team.

Ahrefs
Backlink profiles, domain rating, traffic estimates and the competitor gaps that start each month's list.
linkOreach
Our own in-house tool for outreach and follow-ups, so no editor is pitched twice and every conversation has a record.
BuildLinks.ai
Our own link building management platform. Every placement is tracked in it as an order, and an order is marked complete only after its live link has been checked.
Google Analytics and Search Console
What moved on your side: organic traffic, impressions and rankings for the target pages.

Questions about the work itself

Price and terms are answered on the pricing page.

What are link building services?

Link building services are a managed monthly campaign that earns other websites' links to your pages so that they rank higher and are cited more often. Here that means, each month, 6 link insertions and 1 guest post on Basic, 10 and 4 on Pro, 25 and 5 on Enterprise, on marketing and SaaS sites with a domain rating of 50 or more and at least 1,000 visits a month.

What is a niche edit?

A niche edit (we say link insertion) is your link added to an article that is already published, indexed and getting visits, in a sentence the editor approves. It is the larger share of every plan because the page already ranks.

Are niche edits safe?

Yes, when the page is relevant, has real readers and a real editor, and the link sits in a sentence that belongs there. Our rules for each: the site publishes about your field; at least 1,000, 3,000 or 5,000 monthly visits by plan, as the plan cards state it; a named editor who can say no; and the anchor fits the sentence. Placements are pitched by a person to that editor.

Choose guest posts when you need new referring domains and your name in a publication's own words; choose niche edits when a page close to page one needs a push now. Every plan carries both.

What makes a backlink high-quality?

Six things, and our floor for each: relevance (the site publishes about your field); authority (domain rating 50 or more, 60 on Enterprise, domain authority 30 or more); organic traffic (at least 1,000, 3,000 or 5,000 visits a month by plan, as the plan cards state it); placement in the body of the article, where a reader would click; anchor text that fits the sentence; and a followed link. A link that fails any one of those is not placed.

What should you avoid in link building?

Links from lists, private blog networks and link farms; automated pitches; sites with no editor; anchors that are all exact match; and links pointed at pages that cannot convert. We do none of those: every placement here is pitched by a person to an editor who can say no, on a site that passes the four checks.

What link building mistakes should a SaaS company avoid?

Five we see most, as a list: 1. Linking only to the blog, when the product, pricing and comparison pages are what rank for buyers. 2. Counting links instead of reading the pages they sit on. 3. Anchors that are all exact match, the quickest way to lose rankings. 4. Stopping after one month, before rankings have had three to six months to move. 5. Nobody watching the profile after the links go live, so a removed link is never noticed.

What link building strategies do you use for SaaS companies?

Three ways to find the sites: the ones linking to your competitors and not to you, the ones already ranking for the topics your pages cover, and the editors we have placed with before. Your own blog is read as well, because a post that already ranks is the easiest page to earn a link for. Every candidate then goes through the four checks, and a person makes the final call.

Which SaaS niches do you work with?

Most of B2B SaaS, which is a narrow niche by definition. In a crowded or very specialised field the research takes longer and the list of sites that pass the checks is shorter, so the plan may fill with more insertions and fewer guest posts in a given month, and we tell you when that happens.

Does link building improve AI visibility?

Yes. AI answers are assembled from pages that already rank and from the publications the engines trust, and links are what get a page ranked and a product named in those publications. On the 12 Google AI Overviews we read for the main agency searches on 13 October 2026, 34 of the 38 citations of agencies' own pages went to pages that already held page one, so the links that move rankings are the links that get a page cited. No one can promise a particular citation; what we report every month is rankings, traffic and referring domains.

How do you report on links and results?

Every month: each link placed, with its URL, anchor, target page and the site's domain rating and traffic on the day; then what moved on your side, organic traffic, keyword rankings and referring domains, from Ahrefs, Google Analytics and Search Console.

Do you monitor links after they go live?

Yes. While you are subscribed we keep watching your backlink profile, adjust the target list as your pages and rankings change, and deal with anything that comes up with a placement. Each link carries its plan's guarantee of 12, 18 or 24 months.

What tools do you use for link building?

Ahrefs for backlink profiles, domain rating, traffic estimates and competitor gaps; linkOreach, our own in-house tool, for outreach and follow-ups; BuildLinks.ai, our own link building management platform, where every placement is tracked as an order and marked complete only after its live link has been checked; Google Analytics and Search Console for what moved on your side. The articles, the pitches and every judgement on a site come from the team.

In-house vs agency link building

In-house works if you have a person whose whole job it is, the tools, and the editor relationships, and you can wait for the first link; it also brings product knowledge and partner links an agency has to learn. An agency gives you a fixed number of placements a month at a fixed price, with the tools and the writing inside it: here $2,499, $4,999 or $9,999 a month for 7, 14 or 30 placements. The comparison above sets the two months side by side.
